I can't say it would fool anyone, but the Legacy line is in a class by itself and mimics Waterford crystal
For an elegant table, you can also mix Legacy with other patterns. An example would be to use the Legacy 9" plate or the 10oz. bowl for salads and place it on top of a 10 1/4" Opulence, Masterpiece, or Classicware plate. The Legacy Desert cup could sit on top of an Opulence, Classicware, or Masterpiece 6" plate. The Legacy stemmed wine glass and water glass looks fabulous with any pattern.
The Berry company who produces this line says: " Great events demand great presentations and the characteristics of fine crystal are captured in Legacy's starburst and fleur-de-lie motifs and set the stage for elegance, drama and romance. The complete line offers every serving piece needed to create a fully matched table setting and achieve a dramtic and memorable presentation. You can serve with confidence...resistant to cutting, bending, soak through and will not impart any flavor or ordor to food. The Legacy line ensures food safety, eliminates breakage and replacement costs, and is an economical alternative to permanentware."
What Berry does not say, that I would add, is that it allows an event to evoke a classy, elegant presentation that of course won't fool anyone into thinking it is the real thing...but will communicate the traditional style of those who recognize and appreciate the mimiced Waterford.
If you need to talk about it, just email Janyce.
